what a #@!$^&*% day

oh my god we have had a hell of a day well afternoon the day started out alright we went out for breakfast, then went out to metrotown this afternoon i got a nice green jersey. We came home and were going to go to the supermarket. Scott had his keys so i didn't grab mine we locked the apartment pushed the button for the lift it arrived we got in and as scott stepped in his keyring broke an dthe key to our apartment fell down the crack between the lift and the floor! Scott stayed behind to ring the building manager to try and sort thing out and the rest of us went off to the supermarket. In our parking building there are 2 like garage door/gates that you have to use our swipey thingys (like to get in the building and make the lift works) to open. Some dumb bitch had mucked around 2 long so the door was coming down as she went through and she had left the sunroof thing sticking up which got ripped off and the door ended up hanging down on one side. So we couldn't get to our carpark so have had to pay for parking in the hotel carpark tonight. And the parking machine wouldn't accept my eftpos card kept saying it was invalid so I had to use my visa card. Aargh what a night!! Scott nded up ringing a locksmith to let us in but he couldn't come straight a way so we went to the pub next door for tea while we were waiting. 3 hours later and we are back in our apartment.

Catch you guys later.

love Monique and Scott

Hi guys

Ooooh, how totally frustrating and annoying - just not being able to get into your nest, or park your car, and how even more stressful that all those little things happen at the same time!!!! Few swear words then??? Reminds me of the stupid person who picked MY SUITCASE off the carousel in Gatwick Airport instead of their own. Small inconvenience to them, as they just phone up and get their bag delivered. Huge inconvenience for me having to wait 38 hours to get mine back!! Some people, aye.

How wonderful that you have booked to be in the snow for Christmas - lots of white Xmas pics please.

Sorry not written for a while - had some catching up to do when got back from holiday. Frantic now getting things ready for Ellerslie Flower Show.

Your Mum and Dad came over for afternoon tea Saturday, Monique. Weather was warm, but very windy, so had to sit in the sunroom. Good to catch up, and put the world to right.

Hopefully everything sorted now for you re keys, and parking.

Lots of love
Lesley & Peter

Hi Guys,
Great talking to you last night. It's a shame it works out so late for you at your end.
Monique I finally got myself a parcel for my birthday from you and Nan and Pop. Pascoes had a 50% off gold sale on, so I was able to make the dollars go further. I got another gold bracelet, this one is a figaro pattern (long link then 3 small) then it looks like it has been swashed. Any way it is lovely so thank you very much.
Must go for now, love to you both, take care of each other.
Love from Mum and Dad

The lets go to the pub idea always works wonders on days like that.

Hi Guys,
Are people getting slack at writing a comment to you or what!!!
It was great having a long long long catch up on Friday morning Monique, always good to hear your lovely cheery voice. I am at work today, don't usually work on a Sunday or Monday but we all look out for each other here. Carol S was chassed by two dogs and fell over, thought she had broken her nose, has black eyes and has cuts and scratches all over her face and has black and blue boobies. A man helped her up and got between her and the dogs before they got to her. She thought he was going to have a heart attack when he saw the damaged she had done to herself. He ran her home and she got checked out at A & E. The dogs were picked up and have since been destroyed. They were already known as viscious dogs to the pound. I don't think she will be walking alone again for a long time, it sounds like it was a real frightening episode. Of course if Chikita was their she would have saved her..
Well should be working hard, must away for now, love to you both, take care of each other
Love Mum and Dad
