Hi Monique & Scott

Wishing you a very merry white christmas from all of us at Pukekura Place. Have had Brent & Mia here for a week which has been wonderful. Amanda arrives tonight. She had a scan yesterday and is having another girl which will be great. Callum arrived Thursday. You mum is down to pick Nannie up so will see her this morning.Weather here has been spasmodic to say the least so can't predict what it will do for Xmas Day. Had dinner with Suzette and Heath on Wed nite. They are off to the Sound for Xmas and then S is going to France for a month.
Lots of Love to you both

Hi Guys

Yes, its nearly Christmas, and unlike VC everyone here seems to be out shopping! Tried to avoid the shops and do most shopping earlier, but unfortunately perishables have to be got closer to the day.

Popped in briefly to Mecasso this morning and caught up with your Mum and Nan. Great that she was with the family in Taradale and not alone in Gisborne for THE BIG QUAKE! We actually felt it here. We were visiting Marina and John in Taradale at the time and there was a loud rattling noise before hand (I thought someone was trying to break in to their home), and then the house started moving - it went on for quite some time. Don't know how Penny was coping - all alone back at our house for her very first earthquake! Feel sorry for the business owners in Gisborne - just before their Christmas trading is quite a blow. Your Mum was thrilled that you rang to see if everyone was OK.

Fingers crossed here for lots of snow for you both on Christmas Day. Have a wonderful time.

Lots of love from
Lesley & Peter

Good evening from chilly Scotland.

Thought i'd send a quick message to wish you both a Merry Christmas. The kids parcels are wrapped and the stockings are filled, only job now is to get to bed before they wake at some ungodly hour in the morning.

We hope you both have a great Canadian Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Carol and George.

have been talking to you but better add Xmas greetings to you both in the ever so romantic resort of Whistler and hope it is as exciting as you imagined - cos we all reckon it sounds pretty exciting. Xmas is over for us for another year - time to stop eating for a while and let the xmas goodies settle. A warm but overcast day at mt maunganui. Your Nan was lucky not to have been in gisborne for the quake monique. Although no major damage it would have been very frighteming to heve been there when you see where things have landed - so lucky with all her beautiful china and the dolls. Not a nice thing at all for gisborne. We were lucky i think being closer to the epicentre but inland and so protected by the landmass in between. A bit of a mess in some mahia homes though.
Take care and lots love Mum and Larry.xxx

Lovely to see your faces on screen the other night, so different talking to you, it felt like actually being there.
We all sat up and saw the New year in, went to bed at 1.30 am and had to get up to open up the shop!!! Boooo Hooo not Whoo hoo.
I bought your dad 8 solar garden lights, which he put in yesterday. Looks cool when sitting in the spa pool. I have been going to work with your Mum each day, giving her a helping hand. I wrap while she takes the money, we seem to have a good system going.
Malcolm and Debra are coming over on Friday night, will stay a night then take me back home to Gisborne. This works out well as Malcolm can help pick up the TV's and put them back in place, plug them back in and see if they work or not. Your Mum and Dad have offered me their old ones if mine don't go. Well thats about all for now, love to you both

Hi Babe,
Got your lovely parcel today. It was quite exciting getting it delivered to work, couldn't wait to see what was inside, but had customers!!! I have rung Jill and Larry, not sure when they are in the Bay next so I will courier their Christmas parcel on to them for you.
Loved the metal Egyptian runes, it is almost as if you know me well, and the card was cool, thank you for all the ticks.
Craig has started back at work after a good xmas break, I have a 25 ft container of leather lounge suites arriving on Thursday so have rung Cicada to rustle up some strong boys!!
Cheers for now (time for a new blog entry) love to you both
Mum
